To-Do List Management

Data Management

This tool is a completely free, local-only to-do list that requires no account registration or app installation. You can start using it immediately just by opening your web browser. It allows you to instantly record and efficiently manage your daily tasks, sudden ideas, and important deadlines. The most significant feature is that the data you enter is never sent to any external servers; it is stored exclusively within your device (computer or smartphone). This ensures that you can use it with the highest level of security and peace of mind, without worrying about information leaks, even when handling confidential business information or highly private schedules.

✓ Features of This Tool

  • Completely Free & No Registration Required: You don't need to register an email address, set up a password, or deal with any cumbersome initial settings typically required by other task management tools. The moment you access the website, you can start inputting your tasks right away. You can focus entirely on managing your tasks through a simple and intuitive interface, without being bothered by unnecessary features or advertisements.
  • Strict Privacy Protection via Local Storage: All your data, including task names, detailed memos, and related links, are safely stored only in your browser's local storage. Because the system does not transmit data to cloud servers, there is absolutely no need to worry about data leaks caused by unauthorized access or server failures. You can securely manage everything from business tasks containing sensitive client information to private shopping lists.
  • Comfortable Keyboard-Only Operation: We have implemented powerful keyboard shortcuts that allow you to manage tasks smoothly without using a mouse or trackpad. While typing or editing a task, you can instantly move focus to the previous or next task simply by pressing the "Up" or "Down" arrow keys. Furthermore, by holding the "Alt" key and pressing the "Up" or "Down" arrows, you can reorder the priority of tasks up and down without dragging and dropping, enabling you to organize your list swiftly without interrupting your workflow.
  • Rich Features like Due Dates and Link Integration: You can easily add detailed memos or save URLs of reference websites as links for each task, making access to necessary information incredibly smooth. In addition, if you set a deadline using the calendar feature, the date's text color will automatically change—turning orange when the due date is within 3 days, and red when it is overdue. This visual alert reliably prevents you from missing important tasks and strongly supports your schedule management.

How to Use and Tips

  1. Add Tasks and Separators to Build Your List
Click the "Add Task" button at the top of the screen or use the shortcut to create a new task, and directly type in the text to edit the title. If your list becomes cluttered with too many tasks, adding "Separators" to group your list is highly effective. You can set various colors such as blue, red, or green for separators, allowing you to easily create a visually clear list structure tailored to your work style, whether by project or priority.
  2. Set Memos, Links, and Due Dates for Centralized Management
By clicking the icons located on the right side of each task, you can easily add supplementary memos or reference URLs related to the task. The entered URLs can be opened in a new tab with a single click, making research and document review exceptionally smooth. Furthermore, setting a "due date" from the calendar icon will automatically change the date's text color as the deadline approaches (orange within 3 days, red when overdue), allowing you to accurately grasp the progress and urgency of your tasks at a glance.
  3. Task Completion and Reliable Data Backup
For tasks you have finished, simply check the box on the left to mark them as "Completed"; they will automatically move to the bottom of the list and be organized with their completion date. Accumulated completed tasks can be cleanly erased all at once using the "Delete all completed" button, keeping your list fresh and clear. To prevent data loss due to clearing browser history, we strongly recommend periodically using the "Export" feature to download and save all your data as a JSON file. To restore, simply drag and drop the file onto the screen for an instant import.

Security and Privacy

The greatest advantage of this tool is that it utilizes entirely "local processing," meaning your precious data is never transmitted to external networks. All the task names, detailed memos, and dates you enter are strictly kept inside the browser (local storage) of your computer or smartphone. Data is never saved or collected on our servers or any third-party cloud environments. Therefore, even when handling sensitive content such as highly confidential business projects or personal notes you absolutely want to keep private, you can use the tool extremely safely with zero risk of information leaks or unauthorized access.

Recommended Use Cases

Lightning-Fast Management of Daily Tasks

Designed as a lightweight tool accessible instantly upon opening your browser, it is perfect for quickly jotting down sudden tasks that arise during work or ideas for a shopping list on the spot. When you check off a completed task, it automatically moves to the bottom of the list and out of sight, allowing you to focus only on what needs to be done now. Reviewing the list of completed tasks at the end of the day gives you a solid sense of accomplishment and greatly helps in maintaining your motivation.

Kanban-Style Project Management

Even for complex project management involving multiple steps or team members, you can flexibly adapt by utilizing the "Separator feature" of this tool. Create colored separators for statuses such as "Not Started," "In Progress," "Pending Review," and "Completed," and place your tasks between them. When a task's status changes, quickly move it under the appropriate status using drag-and-drop or the "Alt + Up/Down keys" on your keyboard. This realizes intuitive and easy-to-understand progress tracking, much like a simple Kanban board.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Where is my saved data stored? Is there a risk of it being seen by third parties?
All the data you enter is stored exclusively in a dedicated storage area (local storage) within the web browser on your computer or smartphone. There is absolutely no mechanism for transmitting or saving data to our operational servers or external cloud services, so there is zero risk of your data being snooped on by third parties or leaked. Please feel confident using it even for confidential information.
Can I use it on smartphones (iPhone/Android) as well as computers?
Yes, you can comfortably use it not only on computers but also on smartphones and tablet devices. There is no need to go out of your way to download or install a dedicated app from a store. Simply access our website from standard web browsers like Safari or Google Chrome installed on your device, and you can immediately use it as a task management tool in exactly the same way.
What happens to my task data if I delete my browser's cache or history?
If you perform operations from your browser's settings menu to clear "Site Data," "Cookies," or "Local Storage," the task data saved in your browser will also be reset (completely deleted) at the same time. To prevent the trouble of losing your data, if you are managing important tasks, we strongly recommend periodically using the "Export" feature at the top right of the screen to backup and save all your data as a JSON file on your device.
I accidentally deleted a task using the trash can button. Can I restore it?
We sincerely apologize, but once a task is erased by clicking the delete button (trash can icon)—even by mistake—it cannot be restored by the system. However, if you have previously downloaded and saved your data as a file using the "Export" feature (as a backup), you can completely restore your list to the state it was in when the backup was created by simply "Importing" that file.
